Captains Log Stardate 57545.6: The USS Rainmaker has once again arrived home, but at a very
high price. Everyone that died.... they all had plenty to live for... Many of them had families, and to
have them taken away from them in an instant. This is now the second time I have lost crew
members to this species.... *Sound of a fist slamming against a desk* It will not happen again!

hoenix walked over to the Captains ready room and walks in
Phoenix: Sorry to just walk in here Captain but can i go back to sick bay
and be put under stasis unitil we get back to the Star Baces.
The Captain looks up at Phoenix and for the frist time see and see that his
skin has been cooked all over and what looks like some parts of his uniform
has been melted to his skin.
Roper: What on earth happened to you?
Phoenix: Sir maybe I should tell you what happened.
Phoenix starts to tell the Captain what happened in the torpedo room and
tube.
Phoenix: Sir if it is ok with you can i go to sick bay now
Roper: Certainly! in fact that's an order! Ohh... and Phoenix..... you are hereby promoted to the
rank of Lt and second officer... congradulations
Phoenix walks out and starts to make his way to sick bay.
Jake takes out a pad with all of the casualties, and wounded and just stares at it for a minuete..
The door chime rings
Roper: Come in
Volaris: Commander Roper. I am Ensign T'Prae Volaris your new
assistent Conn officer. Permission to come aboard the Rainmaker and
begin working.
Roper: Granted.. Your superior officer will be Lt Jg Pendragon.
The vulcan starts to walk out...
Roper: Ohh... and Mr Volaris....
He turns around

aboard the Rainmaker. He also heard he had been in a bit of bother,
something to do with torpedo tubes. He went from the bridge to
sickbay where Phonix was being treated. He enter sickbay and notice

Volaris: Hello Jonathen.
Jonathen: what on earth are you doing here
Volaris: I have just been posted here as the asstistant chief conn
officer
Jonathen: well wecome abored then i guess what have you been up to
Volaris: Nothing. I have only just got my quarters dues to last
minute repairs. And aboard Starbase 565 i heard a story about you and
torpedo tubes.
Jonathen: You heard about that then and be luckly that u have some
quarters i have no idea if i still have mine
Volaris: What happened to them?
Jonathen: i am hopeing that they are still there i am going to head
that way now.
Volaris: Are you not under medical orders to remain here?
Jonathen: that was just till I get patched up and i think that doc
has done all that he can.
Volaris: Shall i accompany you to your quarters then?
Jonathen: well it will give us some time to cach up on what has
happened.
*Jonathen got off the biobed and Volaris helped him to his feet. They
exited sickbay and headed for the turbolift*
Jonathen: so how did you get to be the asstistant chief conn officer
Volaris: Well i was the Helm officer on the USS Missiouri and when
half of the ship was blown ub by the Dominion i was on Earth in a
Federation Hospital. I was in a coma for a 3 months then when i awoke
i asked to be reinsteited and got the only Helm position in the alpha
quadrent.
Jonathen: well good job you came out in one pices and I hope that we
are just as luckly with the Rainmaker.
Volaris: I believe the damage to the Rainmaker was extensive.
Jonathen: We were luck to have a ship.
*Jonathen and Volaris got to Jonathen quarters and stoed by the door
and Jonathen: tured and look at Volaris*

Volaris: I hope so or we be pulled into space in the vaccuum though
adequet emergency measures should have a force field raised and the

*Volaris moved Jonathen to the side and opened the door with sheer

Jonathen: well there was some pictures, some thinks my mum sent me
from Home and a holodeck programme i am working on.
Volaris: At least you can slavage some of your items
Volaris: Would you like me to call a clean up crew to help with the
cleaning.
Jonathen: No will just see what i can find now and see what the clean
up crew and pick out later.
*Volaris reached down and picked up a 20th century photograph wih
slightly chared edges. It had a picture of male and a female.*
Volaris: Is this of any importance.
Jonathen: Yes that is a old photograph of my grat grat Gran and
Grandad, see if you can find the one of use two i will go and see if
i can find that holodeck programme
*Volaris started searching. He found a photograph of what appeared to
be Phoenixes parents he held it and continued to search. He found the
picture of himself and Phoenix.*
Volaris:Jonathen*he shouted to the room which looked like it used to
be the sleeping area*I have found the picture of us and another
picture of your parents.
Jonathen: keep hold of them I have got the holodeck programme and the
book i was reading.
*Volaris carried on searching for any thing salvagable. He looked
under what used to be the coffee table. He fo

or something under the table?

Volaris: It appears to made of a biomatter unknown in Federation
databases. It has a unique protein marker.
*Jonathen climes over the stuff in his room and gets to where Volaris
is*
Jonathen: This could be very bad we need to get the the bridge
=/\=Volaris to bridge. We have a problem. We have found an alien
biomatter in Lt Phoenixes quarters. I suggest we initiate quarentine

Jonathen: I am going to the bridge i need to see if the computer has
been hacked into from my quarters.
Volaris: You have a theory
Jonathen: and that means one of them may still be here just like last
time.
Volaris: Last time?
Volaris: That means we could have an intruder
Jonathen: Yes when we left space dock we where having troubal with
the warp field and the Engineering Officer found some thing on the
ship what was stoping use from warping and then our friends showed
up. we must keep this quite so that the intruder still thing we don't
know
Jonathen: we better go to the Bridge and tell the Captain and i will
check the computers
Jonathen: Yes you berther
Volaris: I sahll accompany you.
*Volaris and Phoenix left the room. They headed for the turbolift*

Phoenix walked over to the Operations panel and Volaris walked over
to th captains ready room. He rang the chime and Jonathen went to his

Phoenix look trough the computer they where a bit basted up and some parts
where offline by i found what he was looking for.

from leving the star bace so it does not get away with this information =/\=

He wached as Rex came closer. The marine stood
silently by waiting and wondering what to do. Reeves
took a step forward and addressed them both.
Reeves: Ok, I have called you here to discuss the
matter of the intruder. I have devised a search
pattern, developed from info I gathered from the alien
ship when I went to rescue the captain. I figure after
gathering intel it would goto the last place anyone
would try and look, namely the scene of the crime. In
other words the main computer, and that is where I
predict we will find him.

*Volaris had just been talking to Commander Roper. He had told him
that there was an intruder aboard. He went to his quarters to get
his phaser rifle. He got and and took to security men (NPCS) with
him and began to do a sweep of the deck. He had never had any
contact with these aliens but had read Ropers report. He bagan to
search deck 3. He walked with the security officers. Suddenly there
was a weopon blast. It went past them.
Security NPC: Take cover.
*They began firing at it but none of the shots hit. The alien then
left and went up through the ceiling of a open turbolift.
Volaris=/\=Volaris to everyone on Deck 1 and 2. I believe the alien
is on deck 2 and maybe heading for the bridge.=/\=

The Rainmaker has seen some ruff times lately. And it finally seems things might of settled down
for a bit now. Alot of things have happened in the past weeks. First contact with new races have
been made, a battle in which we fought along with the borg. And a loss of some good people.
But there is always a blue sky under those darks clouds. And it seems it may finally be poking out
after all this time.
Repairs on the ship are progressing faster than I anticipated. And our new systems are being
installed now.

into turbolift, the marine following closely behind*

Reeves makes sure his rifle is properly secured and
jogs down the corridor the marine at his heels. He
pulls out a tricorder and scans the deck for any
aliens. The Tricorder reads none.
Reeves:=/\=Reeves to Volaris are you sure.*phaser beam
hits bulkhead just above where Reeves is* Nevermind
alien sighted=/\=
[Tag Volaris]
Reeves puts the tricorder away and fires in the aliens
direction, missing. The marine runs up out of breath
and fires at the alien narrowly missing.
Reeves: Damn, lets go *Motions to Marine*
They follow the alien down the corridor, the lien
always one step ahead, letting the marines get only a
partial view. The alien detours off into a jefferys
tube.
Reeves:=/\=This is Lieutenant Reeves, Alien is
Jefferies tube, its heading toward bridge.=/\=

OFF: Sorry I've been gone for so long, I've been travelling quite a bit recently and have just settled
in. Going to see if I can catch up.
ON:
Executive Officer's log stardate 57545.6: Second mission and second time we bring the
Rainmaker back to starbase 565 for extensive repairs. Also second time we lose so many good
people. I guess we should be thankful that she is a sturdy ship or we would have lost a lot more,
but I can't shake the feeling that in a sense we had failed a bit. For the first time in my career I had
taken command of a ship and people died under my command. I know that there was nothing
much I could do but that still doesn't take the aweful feeling away.
Though I do not understand why we were attacked I do know this, many good people lost their
lives, this cannot be allowed to happen again.

Drakos, who was sitting in the captains chair at the time since the captain was on the starbase,
stood up. Yellow alert? Already?
Roper comes onto the bridge.
Drakos: Sir what is happeneing?
Roper: We may have an alien intruder on the ship. Alien biomatter was found in Phoenix's
quarters. I will be in my ready room.
Drakos nodded.
Phoenix walked over to the Operations panel and Volaris walked over to the captains ready room.
He rang the chime and went in and Jonathen went to his station to check the computers
Phoenix: =/\=Captain it looks like it has look at all the files it could and downlode some of them
when we where being attack. we need to stop all ship from leaving the star bace so it does not get
away with this information =/\=
Roper: =/\= Understood, We can only hope that he is still on the ship, but i'l contact security.=/\=
Phoenix: =/\= I am going to put a bit of the bio matter in to the computer and see if i wll help the
look for it I will take it to the star baces computer because we may have more luck with there

The creature's hand held more tightly around the young ensign's throat. He began to choke.
Drakos: If you do that you won't have any protection...
The creature released his grip a little.
Drakos in the meantime was also setting his phaser on wide beam. This would take out both the
creature and ensign but they would still be alive. Just as he was about ready to fire the turbolift
doors open and the force field is deactivated. Reeves arrives with the Marines and takes one
quick shot at the alien to the head, knocking him out.
Drakos: Are you alright ensign.
Ensign Redshirt: *cough cough* yes sir.
Then the ensign passes out.
Drakos: Mr Reeves, please help Ensign Redshirt to sickbay. As for the alien, what now Captain?

Off: Well I'm pretty sure you missed the entire mission... A Alien ship showed up when we
rescued the tornado..... I was taken captive, The Rainmaker was badly damaged along with the
tornado... then they found a way to detect the ship while it was cloaked, and rescued me and
destroyed the ship.... We were towed back to starbase 565 and now we have detected a alien on
the ship.. Again sorry for the short post.... real life.....

Drakos: We want you two to work the alien's interrogation. Chandra will take continuous scans of
the creature. For all we know it could be telepathic an contacting their people. We need to know
as much as we can about them. Mr Mackenzie you will carry out the actual interrogation. You may
have any resources you need. This is top priority.
Roper: You may use any means necessary following the starfleet regulations in case of
emergency.

Drakos: Just keep in mind while you're in there. They are very cunning. Do not take your eyes off
it for a second and remember that they attacked us without provocation.

Drakos: Sir, what if there are more on the ship?
Roper: I've been asking myself that same question over and over again frankly..... I don't have an
answer.. Phoenix will keep looking.. and we will maintain a full security alert... but other than that...
Im not sure what we can do.
Drakos gets up and looks out the window.
Drakos: It was my first time in command of a ship... 15 people died...
Roper: You did the best you could. You kept the rest alive. There was nothing more you could do.
Drakos: I keep telling myself the same thing. How do you do it, sir? How do you keep from losing
your sanity?
Roper: I think of the lives that were saved because it was the right decision. I think of how things
could have been a hell of a lot worse. But they weren't...
Drakos nods and goes to the door. Roper gets up and turns to the window for a moment, staring
out with the gaze of a man thinking a thousand thoughts. Drakos stops and looks back.
Drakos: Sir?
Roper looks at Drakos and smiles. He then heads past him and out the door. Drakos follows

Pheonix made his way to Tenforword and found himself a table put his head
down on it and started to thing about what had happen in the torpedo tube
and the that he was stuck he there and couldn't do anything to help in
getting the Captain back or bloowing some holes in the Ailen ship. Then it
was as he was a sleep he opened his eyes but they where not his then he
looked and saw that he was not human then it was as if his stomach had just
fell a hundred feet then he wock up and had sweet all over his face there
was the same one stand next to him

Pheonix: O I am ok just had a bit of a bad dreem and can you get me a glass
of water with ice.
Bar worker: it will be with you in in 1 second.
Pheonix sat there looking into space and thing was it a bad dreem or could
it be something different then the Bar man gave him his drink." Thank You"
he sat there with the glass in his hand thing about what had happen and
trying to remember what happend but all he could work out was that it my
have been the Ailenin the brig but there was no prove of it so the then came
to the decision that he will keep it to himself for now and not tell the
Captain.

Pheonix made his way to Tenforword and found himself a table put his
head down on it and started to thing about what had happen in the
torpedo tube and the that he was stuck he there and couldn't do
anything to help in getting the Captain back or bloowing some holes
in the Ailen ship. Then it was as he was a sleep he opened his eyes
but they where not his then he looked and saw that he was not human
then it was as if his stomach had just fell a hundred feet then he
wock up and had sweet all over his face there was the same one stand
next to him
Bar worker: Are u all Lieutenant can i get u some thing.
Pheonix: O I am ok just had a bit of a bad dreem and can you get me
a glass
of water with ice.
Bar worker: it will be with you in in 1 second.
Pheonix sat there looking into space and thing was it a bad dreem or
could it be something different then the Bar man gave him his
drink." Thank You" he sat there with the glass in his hand thing
about what had happen and trying to remember what happend but all he
could work out was that it my have been the Ailenin the brig but
there was no prove of it so the then came to the decision that he
will keep it to himself for now and not tell the Captain.

creatures that attacked us. A while ago I was asked by my Executive Officer How I keep myself
from going insane when I lose people under my command. At the time I the only answer that I
gave him was that it could have been much worse. However the truth is I don't.... Every time I lose
people under my command A part of me dies with them. And If I have to send one more letter to
the parents of my crew I will not stop until I find the homeworld of these creatures.... I will stop at
nothing until I find them.... And when I do.... God help them. End log
Jake decided that sitting around waiting was going to kill his nerves, so he headed to the
holodeck.

A Thompson Submachine gun and 5 Colt 45 Pistols appear in front of him. Jake grabs two pistols
and the machine gun.
The holodeck scene disappears and in front of him A 20th century WW11 style training range.
Jake walks up to the pistol range and takes out his colt.
Jake shoots out the whole clip and walks up to the target... 5 shots to the head... 1 to the neck,
and 1 to the left ear. He turns around to walk back when he sees a marine captain in front of him.
Captain Johnson(npc): Where did you learn to shoot like that soldier.
Roper: Back at my home in California, we used to own a shooting range.. My dad was fascinated
with World War Two so he had an antique Colt 1945, M1 Garand, and a few other guns and I
would spend alot of my time practicing at the range
Johnson: First of all what do you mean Antique... And second of All HOW THE HELL COULD HE
HAVE BEEN FASCINATED WITH SOMETHING THAT IS JUST HAPPENING NOW!
Roper: Ohh right... Forget it captain

ON: USS Rainmaker CSO Office
Harrison was using the downtime to try and get his department back in order, wow, his
department - it suddenly struck him that he was now a senior staff member. He used to make fun
of the CSO always at the beck and call of the captain, those private meetings in the briefing room.
Up until a week ago Harrison had never even been to the bridge except on holodeck simulations,
he couldnt remember ever having a conversation with the Captain that wasnt ship related.
Looking at the crew manifest he could see he was a little short in some areas, SB565 had some
personel who could transfer to the rainmaker, so that should help a lot.
Harrison stod up and headed out the door, he was tired and needed sleep.

With the Rainmaker being just about totalled and my quarters sustaining a direct hit from an
alien torpedo I've hd to take up guest quarters on the starbase, I 've recieved many requests from
the junior officers and crewmen serving aboard rainmaker to start a self defence class, maybe it's
the fact that we had an alien intruder on board or that they feel Starfleet basic hand to hand
combat training is insufficient to prevent them being injured by hostile aliens, whatever the case
I've agreed to start a class, since the rainmakers under repairs and the officers gym was in one of
the most damaged area the first few classes are on the starbase gym, well don't want to be late
for class.
Pendragon: Computer end log.
he quickly got dressed into his training suit and must have aquired a strange look from the
starbase personel as he walked down the corridoor in a Karate suit and what appeared to be a
pair of black trousers so baggy they almost looked like a dress.
Pendragon enters the Starbase Gym there are a few officers working out, in the far corner there
are several crewman waiting by some training mats.
Pendragon: Well Kiddies lets get started unless anyone is having second thoughts about
starting.

They have been giving us trouble since we left the starbase.

Hansley: Sir incoming hail from the Tornado.
Roper: On screen
Pike: Captain we've detected an unknown alien vessel approaching your
posistion, according to Mr. Chang it is preparing to-"
The enemy vessel fires at the Rainmaker. There is an explosion on the bridge. sparks flying,
consoles blowing up and electrical fires ignite. The impact was with such force that it knocked the
entire bridge crew to the ground.
Jake is thrown to a wall and slumps down on the ground. There is a searing pain in his right leg.
He tries to stand up but it feels like he had been hit by a romulan disruptor.
Drakos: =/\= Drakos to Sick bay, medical emergency on the bridge=/\=
Phoenix: It seems we've lost communication with the tornado, we're being jammed.
Drakos:Mr. Phoenix, grab a fire extinguisher and help me put out the fire!
Phoenix get's up and starts putting out the fire
Connor: Shields are down.
The alien ship hits the Rainmaker again. This time the eerie sound of metal tearing let everyone
know... there's a hull breach... and a big one. The Rainmaker is adrift.
Drakos: What is our status Mr Phoenix?
Phoenix: Sir... We are adrift
Roper: Computer from when we could see them and when they were firing can you show me
approximately where the enemy ship would have been during this entire battle.
Computer: Affirmative, It is accurate within 1/1000 margin of error increasing exponentially for
every second past the starting point.
Roper: Do it.
Roper: Now computer Do the same for stardate 57348.8 and cross check references.
Computer: Executing.
Roper: Good... now show me both at the same time..
The rainmaker appears... as does another rainmaker, the tornado, a borg cube and two alien
ships
Roper: That's what i thought! but why?

Drakos: Sir we've lost the vessel again, it has cloaked and I guess our sensors need recalibration.
They have been giving us trouble since we left the starbase.
*before Jake could respond ensign Hensley(npc comm officer) said something*
Hansley: Sir incoming hail from the Tornado.
Roper: On screen
Pike: Captain we've detected an unknown alien vessel approaching your
position, according to Mr. Chang it is preparing to-"
The enemy vessel fires at the Rainmaker. There is an explosion on the bridge. sparks flying,
consoles blowing up and electrical fires ignite. The impact was with such force that it knocked the
entire bridge crew to the ground.
Jake is thrown to a wall and slumps down on the ground. There is a searing pain in his right leg.
He tries to stand up but it feels like he had been hit by a romulan disruptor.
Drakos: =/\= Drakos to Sick bay, medical emergency on the bridge=/\=
Phoenix: It seems we've lost communication with the tornado, we're being jammed.
Drakos:Mr. Phoenix, grab a fire extinguisher and help me put out the fire!
Phoenix gets up and starts putting out the fire
Connor: Shields are down.
The alien ship hits the Rainmaker again. This time the eerie sound of metal tearing let everyone
know... there's a hull breach... and a big one. The Rainmaker is adrift.
Drakos: What is our status Mr. Phoenix?
Phoenix: Sir... We are adrift
Roper: Computer from when we could see them and when they were firing can you show me
approximately where the enemy ship would have been during this entire battle.
Computer: Affirmative, It is accurate within 1/1000 margin of error increasing exponentially for
every second past the starting point.
Roper: Do it.
Roper: Now computer Do the same for stardate 57348.8 and cross check references.
Computer: Executing.
Roper: Good... now show me both at the same time..
The rainmaker appears... as does another rainmaker, the tornado, a borg cube and two alien
ships
Roper: That's what I thought! but why? It doesn't make any sense!

The two rainmakers, tornado and borg cube move about but the alien ship's move exactly
together.... You cannot even tell that it is two ships....

Roper: Yah.... *taking a big gulp* We're not in too great shape.
Jurai: Well I heard from a few technicians that your ship shall be finished it repairs soon
Roper: I hope so.... *as the synthehol starts to take full effect* You know... We could use
someone like you on the raingeiser *his hand slapping against the table*
Jurai: Oh?
Kamadaki starts to feel curious
Jurai: What would I possible able to do apart from cook and do some bar tendering
Roper: I don't know... what do you want to doooo?
Jurai: Ok I think you have drunken a bit too much
Roper: I'll arrange it with the Admiral... I'll tell you when I've had enough! *his head hit's the table*

The shuttle powered up and the proud sound of the impulse engines
filled the shuttle bay. The expression everyone had said it
all: "Good luck and godspeed". The shuttle then cleared the bay.
After the shuttle left Jake dissmissed the crew who then went back
to their duties..

Drakos: *Turns to Roper and smiling*: Have a little faith sir. He is
one tough man and a damn fine officer. I think he'll do fine.

repairs should be finished within the week sir. Maybe even sooner.

THe turbolift begins to move for some seconds and then stops. The

tell everyone doing repairs to be extra careful. I don't want
another person in sick bay due to plasma conduits blowing up. Also
have Jaime send a medic down here too... just as a precaution. And

Off: Alright let's take a vote here.... Who wants to start the next mission right after reeves get's
back.... and who want's to wait a little while? Also.. .we haven't worked this out 100% yet.. but we
are thinking of having a ship poker night every week maybe or maybe every two weeks... how it
would work is we would have an outside person deal the cards and tell us what they were then in
a chat window we would post how our charecter's react to the cards example...

Ensign Ketaren sat in his quarters on the starbase quietly contemplating his first starship
assignment, infiltration specialist on the USS Rainmaker. This was to be the Bolian's first Starfleet
assignment out the academy and he would be lying to himself if he said he wasn't nervous.
Though there was also another feeling welling up inside, one he had not felt for a long time,
excitement. Ketaren glanced at a pad sitting on his desk and noticed that it was nearing time to
report for duty on the Rainmaker. Silently, calmly Ketaren started to pack his belongings into his
Starfleet issue duffle bag. Walking around his quarters Ketaren picked up the various oddities and
mementos strewn about the room, a picture of his parents, some pads, his academy class
graduation picture and many other things had somehow found there way out of his luggage in the
relatively short time Ketaren had been on the starbase. A few minuets later the short, stout Bolian
had finished stuffing his belongings away, threw his duffle bag over his shoulder and walked out of
his quarters. After what seemed like a very long walk Ketaren came to the docking port where the
Rainmaker was resting. Taking a long deep breath Ketaren stepped through the docking port and
onto the ship that would be his home for the foreseeable future. Ketaren walked through the ship
until he reached the nearest turbolift. The Bolian stepped into the lift and stated his destination to
the computer. With a soft hum the turbolift began to move and before Ketaren had time to think
about how slow turbolifts were these days had reached the bridge. The lift's doors opened and
Ketaren walked out, Ketaren walked around the tactical consol and reached the captain's chair in
which sat the Rainmaker's executive officer.
Ketaren: Ensign Ketaren reporting for duty as infiltrations specialist sir.
(Drakos)
Ketaren: I think I can find my quarters by myself sir.
(Drakos)
Ketaren: Yes sir.
After taking the relatively short trip to his quarters Ketaren placed his duffle bag on the couch and
began to unpack things. After only a few minutes of this Ketaren realized that he was extremely
tired and since he was not on duty at the moment, lay down on the bed and slept.

congradulate him, and see what this'll mean. He sees the captain
walking out of the Admiral's office with a PADD and barely able to
hold his excitement he heads towards him.
Drakos: Sir, so what's the deal? Is it true sir? Is the Rainmaker
going to be a task group flagship?

After a good few hours of rest Ketaren woke up and decided to begin
unpacking his belongings. Ketaren walked over to the couch where his
duffle bag lay, unzipped it and began to remove the contents.
Sitting on the top was Ketaren's neatly folded black shirt and
pants, which he used for infiltration training; Ketaren took these
out and threw them onto the bed. Next Ketaren removed a stack of
padds containing his various writings, theories and other
miscellaneous material, Ketaren placed these uncaringly onto the
room's small desk. After this there was only a few more items left
in his small bag, his academy graduation picture, a dress uniform
and his many self-designed holodeck training programs. Placing these
in their rightful places Ketaren changed into his training clothes,
picked up a program and headed to the nearest holodeck.
(Holodeck)
Ketaren moved silently, barley breathing through the dark corridors
of the Cardassian station. Soon Ketaren had reached the door he was
looking for, making sure the corridor was deserted Ketaren
skillfully ripped open the door access panel and disabled both the
alarms and locking mechanisms. Taking a deep breath Ketaren removed
a hypo spray from his pant pocket and ran through the doorway. As he
entered the room Ketaren quickly assessed the danger, there was one
Cardassion guard by his objective and another by the door who was
just turning around to see who had come in. Ketaren shot toward the
second guard placing his hypospray against his neck, seconds later
he fell to the floor with a dull thud. Ketaren dropped the now empty
hypospray on the floor and picked up the Cardassion's rifle,
pointing it menacingly at the first guard and motioning for him to
move away from the panel. As soon as Ketaren saw that the Cardassion
was a safe distance away Ketaren shot him in the shoulder and ran
toward the panel tapping in a practiced series of commands. Seconds
later the computer's calm voice stated, "program complete". "This is
getting too easy" Ketaren thought, "Computer, increase to difficulty
level 3" Ketaren's silent training would continue well into the
night.

Drakos looks through the names and notices a certain Ensign Ketaren,
Intelligence officer.
Drakos to himself: Hmm… Starfleet is really pumping up intelligence
agents.
The position says Infiltrations specialist, practically straight out
of the academy. Drakos continued to read the rest of the new
crewmembers.
The turbolift's doors opened and Ketaren walked out, Ketaren walked
around the tactical consol and reached the captain's chair in which
sat the Rainmaker's executive officer.
Drakos looked up to see the young new ensign.
Ketaren: Ensign Ketaren reporting for duty as infiltrations
specialist sir.
Drakos: Ensign Ketaren, welcome aboard. I am Lieutenant Commander
Markos Drakos your new executive officer. At ease ensign. You
probably already know your senior officer is Lt Mackenzie, report to
him in the morning. For the rest of the day you have free time, I
suggest you get a feel of the ship and her crew. You know how to get
to your quarters?
Ketaren: I think I can find my quarters by myself sir.
Drakos: Alright dismissed then.
Ketaren: Yes sir.
Drakos watched as the ensign went to the turbilift. Drakos then
turned to the console and worked on the crew evaluations.

OFF:Ok, heres my post, and ill try to post more often.

Reed was busy reparing and cleaning up his quarters to get it in ship
shape.
Reed:Well im not much of an engineer, but i can still repair my
quaters atlaest, just might take awhile.
20 minutes later Reed was finally finished with his quarters and
walked out of his quarters and into the corridor. He walked by some
quarters with there doors open and people struggling to get them fixed.
Reed:Here, let me give you a hand.
So, he walked over to there quarters and started helping that people
that were having trouble fixing up there quarters. Just then Ensign
Keteran walked by.
Reed:Hey, I havent seen you around here before.
Keteran:Im new, my name is Keteran and I'm the Assistant Chief
Intelligence Officer.
Reed:Oh, im Reed, nice to meet you.
Keteran:Same here.
Reed:Well see you around, and if you are having any trouble with your
quarters just tell me.
Keteran:Ok, thanks.
So Keteran walks down the corridor and into his quarters.

Ensign Ketaren woke up immediately feeling the soreness in his body after a night of grueling
training. Grudgingly Ketaren pulled himself out of bed, changed into his Starfleet uniform and sat
down at his desk to write a letter to his parents. Though Ketaren wasn’t very close to his parents
he still wrote letters to them around once a month. After finishing his brief letter telling them about
his post on the Rainmaker Ketaren sent the subspace communiqué on it’s way and tapped his
combadge speaking is his quiet manner.
Ketaren: Mr. Mackenzie this is ensign Ketaren, the Rainmaker’s new infiltrations specialist. Would
you like me to report to you sir?

Reeves woke with a start, still trembling from the
nightmare. He couldn't stop dreaming about his match.
Slipping on his own blood in the middle of the match,
and being disarmed. It was just to much to handle
considering his first match he had won effortlessly.

menacingly*

The small shuttle landedand Reeves disembarked,
walking out the door and into the nearest turbolift.
He arrived at his room, he threw his stuff down on his

Reed had just finished cleaning up some wuarters and decided to head
to the holodeck, just to get some rest. So, he walked down into the
turbolift.
Reed: Deck 5
The turbolift moved and then stopped and Reed walks out. As he was
walking to the holodeck he saw Reeves heading there too.
Reed: HEY REEVES!!! Mice to see you again man.

So Reed walked away from holodeck and downm back into the turbolift.

Reed: Hey Doc, i need something to help me sleep. I havent really
gotten much sleep lately.

<Scene: Outside the starbase>
A bright flash appered and acompanied by a bang as a transport
exit's warp. The transport slowly moves towards the base and the
base opens it's massive space doors to let the transport dock. After
4 minutes the transport docks on one of the huge center support
collums.
By the passanger loading area between the transport and the support
colloum, a airlock door oppens and the passangers walked threw it on
to the base. After 3 more minutes when almost every passanger have
departed from the transport, a man dressed in black a pair of cotton
trousers, a pair of black army boots, a standard starfleet uniform
jacket, a long black fine leather coat that reached only 4 inches
from the floor and a pair of ray-ban sun-glasses. He carried a large
bag in his right hand and was slowly walking threw the air-lock.
10 meters past the air-lock. He put's down the bag and tapes a deep
breath.
"Damn it's nice to be back. Earth was nice, but nothing can compere
with the atmosphere of a starbase." Rex Forax said wile his eyes
were closed to focus on the sound and smell of the base.
He ones again picked up his bag and walked down the prominade to the
bar just 50 meters away. He takes a seat by one of the tables close
to the prominade. After a few seconds a weiter walked up to him.
"What would it be sir?" the weiter asked with a pen and papaer in
his hand.
Rex removed his sun-glasses and put them on the table and awnsered
with a calm voice.
"I would like a set of grilled ribs and potatos."
"Any thing to dring with that sir?" The weiter asked.
"Yeah... I would like wisky with that." Rex awnsered.
"Of course sir, comming right up." The weiter said and walked away.
Rex sat by his chair and soked in as much of the air as he could.
Sudenly a voice interupted him.

Sudenly a voice interupted him.
Roper: Nice to see that you are back lt.
Forax turned around to locate the sorce of the voice. Sudenly he sees Jake Roper standing
behind and to the right of him.
Forax: Thank you captain, exuse me if I'm not standing attention. I'm waiting for my dinner.
Roper: *smiling* How well do you know me lt?...... Obviously not well enough... *turning to the
waiter* A scotch... on the rocks please.
Forax stands from the chair and moves a chair to let the Captain sit.
Forax: Please sir, Take a seat.
Roper: Actually, I would like to, but I have some paperwork that I must be attending to, *points to
padd* Welcome back.
Forax takes a seat again just as the food and drinks came to the table.
Forax: Thank you sir. It's really good to be back.
The waiter brings jake's scotch
Roper: Thanks, I gotta go *salutes*
Forax returns the salute.
Forax: Of course sir. Nice to see you again, and don't burn your self to a crisp with all the papper
work. *grins*

*Jaime sat in Sickbay in his office wearing his white medical coat. He was examining a PADD
displaying the injuries for the past two days. Ensign Reed walked in*
*Jaime stands up and walks over*
Jaime: Ensign Reed.. How nice to see you, isn't it a little late to be injuring yourself?
Reed: No injuries today, Doc. Could you give me something to help me sleep?
Jaime: Let's find out.
*Jaime gets a medical tricorder off of the counter and begins scanning*
Jaime: It looks like you have been under a little too much stress, Ensign...
Reed: I know, I'll try to relax more
Jaime: Here is a prescription code *hands him a PADD*, it will give you one dose of a mild
anesthetic. The prescription is good for one replication only, so don't lose it. Also on the PADD is
a relaxation program on the holodeck and a replicator file for some Chamomile Tea.
Reed: Thanks, Doc; I owe ya one
*Ensign Reed exits peacefully*

woke up. Excuse the belated post.

Drakos walks into the room with Phoenix each holding a PADD with
their evaluations. Both almost simultaneously place their PADDs on
the catains desk.
Roper: Thank you
Roper: I just heard from Lt Reeves, he'l be coming back now,
Apparently he won his first match but lost his second. So once the
rainmaker is fully repaired we can be underway.
Drakos: Thats too bad, I bet on him too... *chuckles*. Oh and repair
crews report that everything is almost ready to go, just a few touch
ups. Scott should be able to fill you in better. He has been working
extremely hard in trying to get the ship in top condition ever since
we got back.
With that Drakos and Phoenix were dismissed. Drakos assumed his
bridge duties.

Roper: =/\= Roper to Drakos, have all of the crew report onto the
rainmaker.... and please report to my ready room =/\=
Drakos: =/\= Yes sir, all crew has reported aboard except for a few
who are using some of the starbase facilities to put on the
finishing touches to the ship's outter hull and Rex Forax who should
be arriving any moment now by shuttle. =/\=
Roper: =/\= Drakos, Please get me admiral thompson on screen in my
quarters =/\=
Drakos: =/\= Aye sir =/\= Lt Phoenix please open a channel with
admiral thompson and patch it into the captains quarters.

Roper: Come in
Drakos: Sir you wanted to see me?
Roper: Ahh Commander, I figured since we didn't really get a
shoreleave, and seeing as we have no job that needs to be done, we
might make a stop at risa for a while.
Drakos raised his eyebrow unable to hold back his smile.
Drakos: Risa Sir? Come to think of it you could use some good R&R.

Roper: *walking over to the replicator* Tea, Something Hot and Mint
flavored.
Computer: There are currently 1875 Different Tea's that have those
specifications
Roper: So pick one at random
A glass of tea appears, and jake picks it up.

trying to do some minor repairs to his tricorder which was damage in
his accident. His left hand kept shaking. He just couldnt get it
right. It would not work. Volaris could not understand why. It was
not logicle as to why it was not working.*

*He said. He was becoming frustrated. That was an emotion. He was
worried about this. He is Vulcan and should not have emotions. Worry
was an emotion too! He did not want the doctor doing tests on him so
he contacted the only person on the ship he could trust*

<Scene: Bar on the starbase>
Forax just finished his dinner and was walking down the prominade
again. After a short wile, he got to a turbo-lift. He enters and
puts down his bag.
"Holoarea." Forax said.
The lift started to move and hummed. A few seconds later the lift
stoped and the doors oppened. He picked up his bag again, walked out
and saw the area surprisingly crouded. He shook his head and walked
to the 3rd holodeck. The door oppend and he walked to the center of
the room and put down his bag again.
"Computer, run program Forax Omega 45." Rex comanded the computer.
The computer replyed with a few beeps as the room went dark, a few
seconds the projection of space was shown around the entyre room and
a cerircular platform that seamed floating in the air was just
underneath his feet. "Computer, play 'Vangelis - Conquest of
paradice'" He then said. The music sounded softly in the holodeck.
Rex took a seat and crossed his leg. He closed his eyes and gathered
the moment. After 15 minutes the arc and door appered just bu the
ledge of the platform.

The tubolift opens Reeves steps out onto the bridge he
rarely ever sees. He walks over to a station and sits
he looks around at the men and women hussleing and
bussleing aaround the bridge.

He stands up and walks onto the turbolift.
Reeves: Transporter Room *computer chirps and lift
moves*
The door opens Reeves steps out onto the corridor
taking long slow strides he enters the room leaps onto
the platform.
Reeves:Beam me to Forax's location, energize. *Blue
glow envelops Reeves and he materializes outside of
holodeck 3. The door opens and he strides in.
Reeves: Mr. Forax good to see you. I was hoping to
find you here, or more like I was hoping you were in a
place similar to this. *chuckles* So how you been
lately?
